Pierce Findley Beers Scholarship
Since 2003, over 450 students have traveled through one of over 35 trips through The Crossing’s Quest program. These trips are transformative experiences in which students engage deeply with fascinating issues across the globe, while also growing both personally and as a team.
The Crossing is committed to providing these experiences to as wide a group of students as possible. We are proud to offer travel scholarships in honor of former Campus Minister Ed Beers, Reverend Emeritus Cecil Findley, and most recently, former Executive Director of The Crossing Doug Pierce.
Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on their answers to the questions below, as well as their demonstrated engagement in the pre-trip process. Preference will be shown to students from backgrounds under-represented in the Quest program (low socio-economic status, ethnic minority, LGBTQ, etc) as well as demonstrated involvement with The Crossing.

The deadline for Quest Badlands scholarship applications is Friday, March 2nd.
The Quest Coordinator and Executive Director will review all applications, with the assistance of trip leaders. Scholarships will be given out based on amount of funds available, number of applications received and demonstrated need. Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in all pre-trip activities and shareholder fundraising if possible. Visit www.badgerquest.org for more information.
