Friends of Quest Cuba:
At the Intersection of Faith, Culture, and Life

Early August
Exact Dates Dependent on Charter Flight Schedule
Picture
Following last year's inaugural Quest trip to Cuba, Quest is once again bringing a group of enthusiastic individuals to learn more about the people and culture of Cuba, through the lens of religion.  This trip is designed for "non-student" supporters of The Crossing and community members as a way to experience Quest and to support student trips. Participants will explore the Cuban culture, traditions, community development, religious diversity and other important aspects of life through morning work projects at area churches and community project with afternoon meetings and cultural activities throughout the province of Holguín.

This is a two-week trip with visits to many parts of the island which can be strenuous. Quest is looking for people who are truly willing and committed to learn about Cuba and its people. Regardless of recent bilateral agreements between the two countries, there are still in place many restrictions for US citizens and legal residents to visit Cuba. This means that we can only take a limited number of people and that the screening process for applicants will be very thorough. Join us if you are naturally curious, open to new experiences and ideas, emotionally mature and yearn to travel off the beaten path!
